Hello Sunshine! Thank you for your interest in our delicious, home baked Sugar Cookies! To help make the process as seamless as possible and to help keep everyone on the same page, we have some company policies to go over.
FREE QUOTE -- We are so excited you've reached out to us about our cookies! We'd love to get you a FREE quote, just be sure to answer all the questions on our form and we'll get back to you as quickly as we can. Please note, during busy weeks you may not get a response until the weekend. I appreciate your understanding!
INSPIRATION PHOTOS -- Thanks a bunch for bringing those inspiration pictures, because they are just that...inspiring! Other Cookie Artists put their hearts and souls into their designs too and we would hate to take that from them! But don't worry... Your cookies may not be a perfect replica, but we’ll do our absolute best to create a similar yet unique design for you!
BALANCE DUE-- Once you accept the quoted price for your order, your total order amount is required so that I can source your cute cutters, fantastic sprinkles, and perfect packaging! Your payment reserves your pickup date too so win-win for all of us! The balance is required to be paid by 8:00 p.m. on that day or your order will be cancelled. (*cringes*)
PICKUP DATES/TIMES – All orders are to be picked up at an agreed upon time/place. This location will be in Stafford County and will be set at the time the order is accepted! This is because other people need their cookie fix too! We have bulk pickup dates to accommodate most schedules, so be sure to put that Cookie Pickup Date in your Calendar! (Delivery of your order may be an option if your delivery location is within 10 miles of Warrenton Rd/95, with an additional fee of $25. Delivery requests must be made and accepted at the time your order is placed)
NEED TO RESCHEDULE? Awesome! Reach out 7 days before your pickup date and if we're able to, we will reschedule your pickup day!
CHANGE CUT-OFF -- Decisions are tough, but we’re here to help! Any change requests can be made up until 2 weeks prior to delivery, and we will do our best to accomodate them! Depending on the level of change, an additional fee may apply.
IN A HURRY? While we can’t always accommodate last minute orders, we will make our best effort too! Last minute orders placed with a turnaround time of less than 3 weeks will incur of 20% rush fee.
NO SHOW = NO COOKIES -- These cookies are best enjoyed fresh. Not showing up to the agreed upon pickup date/time forfeits your order, but take heart because we will donate your order to a family in need, local fire department, police department, healthcare facility, etc. (But really, we want you to enjoy these delicous morsels, so be sure to keep that communication line open!)
REFUNDS – Unfortunately we are unable to offer full refunds, as cookie cutters, ingredients and supplies for your order have likely already been purchased. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your order, please let us know right away so we can remedy the issue!
PRICE ADJUSTMENTS– All prices are subject to change. Prices are often dictated by the cost of ingredients. We always try to provide the best tasting cookies to our clients, this means we can’t always honor old pricing because the grocery store won’t honor their old butter prices, darnit! (This does not apply for a current order you've received/accepted a quote for)
TAX -- Gotta pay the tax man! Unless stated otherwise, all prices are before tax. Virginia currently has a 5% food tax that must be applied to all food items.
PRODUCT PHOTOS – Say Cheese, pretty please! We always take photos of our designs so we can show off what cute cookies you’re getting! If you do not want your cookies in the spotlight until they’ve been given, event date has passed, etc., please let us know at the time of your order, your secret is safe with us! And while we're talking photos, pictures are worth a thousand words but they’re not always accurate so colors may be slightly different than what you end up with. Cookies and photos may not be true to size which is a bummer because we'd love to eat an 8 ½ x 11 cookie!
COPY CATS – We are unable to do any design that violates copyright/trademark laws. Think Disney, Star Wars, and Paw Patrol.... They are protected and we won’t be able to replicate these cute characters. Who wants a cookie controversy, right? We can absolutely make a similar color palette though, so let’s talk!
COTTAGE FOOD LAWS– Please note that this is a home kitchen and is not state inspected. Our kitchen is NOT nut free, egg free, dairy free, or gluten free. Boring disclaimer, but we have to say it per the law. If you have ANY food allergy, we recommend you do not eat our products.
Pay Means Yay- Once you’ve submitted your awesome payment for your awesome order (because you’re awesome), you’re accepting the above terms which is awesome because my cookies are awesome!
